ActivArmor is proud to announce their partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado to provide the best, most technologically advanced, 3D printed casts to kids across the country!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
ActivArmorTM, the First Commercial 3D-printed Casts, Now Available at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Pueblo, CO – June 01, 2020 – Biomedical startup, ActivArmorTM, and Children’s Hospital Colorado are joining forces to bring this revolutionary immobilization technology to children across the Front Range. ActivArmor continues to grow nation-wide, and is now launching its first pediatric hospital provider.

ActivArmorTM orthoses are being prescribed by medical providers for pediatric injuries like breaks and sprains in clinics across the country, including Ft Worth Physical Therapy, Alpine Orthopedics, Jacksonville Orthopedics, Regional Orthopedics, Beverly Hills Hand Center, NorthEast Orthopedics, and Central Indiana Orthopedics.

The next-gen casts are completely custom – precisely fitting to each patient using a 3D body scan, and designed per their doctor’s prescription, allowing patients to continue to perform daily activities such as swimming, bathing and showering. They also allow for improved clinical practices, such as the ability to observe and treat the skin, expose post-surgical hardware or incisions, and are adaptable for use with ultrasound and other advanced healing technology

ActivArmor’s fully custom, truly waterproof, hygienic immobilization solution is a great match for Children’s Colorado’s mission to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, education, research and advocacy. As the first pediatric hospital in the nation to provide the latest in high-tech immobilization options, Children’s Colorado furthers its commitment to supporting their patients’ active lifestyles while healing.

“I’m honored to work with Children’s Hospital Colorado to bring the latest technology to children that need it,” says Diana Hall, ActivArmor President. “We are working to improve the quality of life of patients and let them focus on being kids, instead of on their injuries.”

ActivArmor is currently available by prescription through the clinics listed on their website (www.ActivArmor.com) and covered by most insurance.
