ActivArmorTM The Only Sanitizable, Custom 3D Printed Casts, expanding into Europe
Pueblo, CO – February 15, 2021 – ActivArmorTM, the US Bioengineering Company specializing in patient-specific orthopedic applications has partnered with 3D Life S.A., a world pioneer in innovative medical 3D-printing technologies providing innovative solutions for challenging problems in cardiovascular medicine and other specialties. This unique partnership introduces the ActivArmor revolutionary immobilization technology to Greece and Southeast Europe.
ActivArmor provides the only patient-specific and sanitizable casts in the U.S. market – helping to keep those needing immobilization safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, by simply allowing them to wash their hands. These next-gen casts are engineered to precisely fit each individual patient based on a 3D body scan and are designed per the doctor’s specifications. These include, among an infinite range of possibilities, the ability to expose post-surgical hardware or incisions and are adaptable for use with ultrasound and other advanced technologies. They provide superior comfort and hygiene while facilitating optimal care of a wide range of injuries for adults and children, with the detailed specifications dictated by the patient’s orthopedic physician.
ActivArmor orthoses are being prescribed for injuries like breaks, sprains, and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, through hospitals and clinics across the United States, and they are now becoming available in Europe.
3D Life SA’s leadership team has experience in medical device sales and distribution in the European countries, and superior expertise in innovative 3D imaging and 3D-printed medical modeling– making them the ideal partner for bringing ActivArmor’s next-gen casting solution to the region.
“We are honored to partner with 3D Life SA to bring ActivArmor’s custom 3D printed casts to Europe,” says Diana Hall, Founder of ActivArmor. “As the first and only ActivArmor provider in the region, this collaboration will help bring the latest technology and improved patient care to even more patients across the globe.”
