Dr. Snyder an ActivArmor prescriber and orthopedic surgeon at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute.   As a former collegiate football player, he specializes in sports medicine and is the team physician for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (the Marlins Double A Affiliate), University Christian and Mandarin high schools.  He was the Team Physician for the Kansas City Royals from 2005-2011, and the Head Team Physician for the Kansas City Explorers Professional Tennis Team from 2008-2012.  He was the Team Orthopedic Surgeon for Rockhurst University from 2012-2016, the KC Blues Rugby Team Orthopedic Surgeon 2015 – 2016, a Fellow at the University of Colorado from 2004-2005, Assistant Team Physician for the University of Kansas from 2002 – 2004, and a Fellow for University of Southern California from 2001 – 2002

Dr. Snyder has been published in the Journal of Orthopedic Trauma and The Journal of Arthroscopy and Related Research, and has published chapters in “Cervical Spine Injuries in Athletes: Spine Secrets”, “Ligament Injury and Pain Management. Practical Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy” and “Neck Injuries. Netter’s Sports Medicine” books.

He has presented on Cervical Spine Injuries in Major League Baseball Players for the MLB.
