ActivArmor custom 3D printed casts are biocompatible and made from 100% ABS plastic to provide a hygienic, breathable, safe casting/splinting alternative.
ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a stable, hard and durable plastic used in children’s toys, food packaging and surgical tools. As a result, ActivArmor is designed to be washable, cold sterilizable, reusable, and recyclable.
ActivArmor passed ISO-10993 biocompatibility testing and has been successfully used on patients with allergies to latex and other traditional casting and splinting materials.
Additionally, ActivArmor is temperature resistant and will not deform in heat, so patients can go in icebaths or hot tubs while wearing ActivArmor without worry.
