“ActivArmor has changed my life. I was diagnosed with severe nerve damage by my doctor and needed to be put into a cast. My nerve damage is extensive and will take a year or more to heal but I can still work out, shower, wash dishes, go into a pool and more thanks to ActivArmor’s new Cast, I simply love it. If I could be in a commercial or video telling people about it, I would. It’s very comfortable and is very snug it does everything a cast does but you skin breathes and you can get it wet — it’s great!
This is making my healing process so much more enjoyable, and while I have a long road of healing ahead, I’m very happy with the cast. I have seeing what I can do with it! These should be all across America and replace fiberglass casts everywhere!
I’m originally from New York, and I recently went to orthopedic for severe wrist pain that has been getting worse for some time now. I was put in a soft cast and was told I needed a hard cast soon or a cock up splint full time if I got worse, which I did. I was upset, as you could imagine, not being able to get a cast wet — it being itchy and dirty and smelly etc. I didn’t want that to happen, so I started doing a lot of research and I found this golden company called ActivArmor. They scan your arm and give you a waterproof, breathable, 3D printed cast which is so cool and I’m a sucker for 3D printers too. So this was very intriguing. Sadly no one was in New York to get my arm scanned so I contacted Diana and spoke with her, got a referral from my doctor and since I wanted to go to California anyway to look at film schools, I got on a plane and flew all the way to LA. On my second day in LA I went to Complete PT to get my arm scanned … 2 days later I got my cast on. It clipped on tightly and comfortably and my wrist was immediately immobilized, and felt a relief that I didn’t have to hold up my hand anymore I could just relax. I would do it again in a heartbeat because it really does help!!! If anyone is debating on flying to a location that does this please do, its worth it, I spent 7 hours on a plane to do it and it was worth it!

I also got some of my clips lost at an airport security check, but I contacted the owner of ActivArmor and I was sent new clips.
